Psalm 94:18–19

When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your love, O LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul. 

The psalmist here says, “My foot is slipping.” He was in a position where he was no longer in control. He couldn’t save himself, but he says with great gratitude, “Your love, O LORD, supported me.” How often that’s true. When we come to the place where our foot is slipping, then God reaches out in His great love and mercy and He supports us and saves us.

Are you facing a situation that seems bigger than a mountain? God is faithful. He is with you every step of the way.  When your feet slip on the slopes of life, He holds you up with His unfailing love. Safe within His loving grip you can have the confidence to keep going down the path of life.

 

 

THE WORD FOR TODAY

Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? 

Does this mean nothing to you? 

Can’t you see that His kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? Romans 2:4

Can you imagine if God dealt with us according to our behavior? Who would stand a chance? But the Bible tells us that He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. We are the very object of His grace and mercy. Does this mean anything to you? Paul asks in the above verse, “How could anyone know the mercy and grace of God and not be motivated to live for God? Isn’t His kindness intended to turn you from your sin?”

It is His grace, His kindness, His tolerance and patience that should motivate us to turn from our sin and follow Him. Today, take time to consider how kind and patient God has been towards you.

What is the meaning of Palm Sunday ?

Palm Sunday is a celebration for honoring Jesus Christ’s victorious entry into Jerusalem. While this was a joyful, special occasion for his followers, this event took place towards the end of his days on Earth before being crucified.

Meaning of Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter Sunday that begins the Holy Week. It is the day that we remember and celebrate the day Jesus entered Jerusalem as Savior and King. As Jesus rode a donkey into the town of Jerusalem a large crowd gathered and laid palm branches and their cloaks across the road, giving Jesus royal treatment. The hundreds of people shouted "Hosanna to the Son of David ! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!" 

 

“Palm Sunday is the first day of Holy Week leading up to the Jewish holiday of Passover. Jesus rode on a donkey through the town of Jerusalem on His way to conquer death and bring us life through His sacrifice on the cross.” 

Palm Sunday is often celebrated with processions and distribution of blessed palm leaves. In some churches, the palms are saved and burned into ashes to be used on Ash Wednesday of the next year. Some Christians fold the palm fronds into crosses and keep them in their homes

The Bible says that Jesus wept for Jerusalem. In the midst of the praise of the moment, He knew in His heart that it wouldn't be long that these same people would turn their backs on Him, betray Him, and crucify Him. His heart broke with the reality of how much they needed a Savior.

 

Palm Sunday reminds us that the reign of Christ is far greater than any the mind of man could ever conceive or plan. Man looked for someone to fight their battles in the present day world. Yet God had the ultimate plan of sending His Son to fight the final battle over death. This is the greatness of why we celebrate this week. Because of Christ's ultimate sacrifice, we can be set free of death.

Thank God for His grace, for without it we would have no hope! God allows rejection to come into our lives so that we may have the painful privilege of sharing in the fellowship of Christ's sufferings.

God is saying to each one of us...

This world is not your permanent place. The more early you realize this you will be happy in your life because you will not remain attached to anything or get so much involved that you may forget the reality of your life. I have send everyone with a purpose. Change your life and make best of each day you get and share love with everyone. Don't hurt anyone or break any ones heart. Share the happiness and you will get it back in your life.

What have you sacrificed in life? Just think on it. You will go in that different phase wanting to know the answer. Because there is lot to know in life but you have made only few things your priority. Just focus on what I am telling you. 

You can earn lot of wealth but that will be not stay with you forever. What will remain with you in the end is my love for you. I want to see you at peace and not disturbed thinking about things that you alone can not handle. So leave them to me and I will take care of everything. You can pray with faith and you will see your worries and troubles vanishing away.

I know you by name, i know your thoughts , your pain , your dreams and your next step. So whenever I see that you are about to do wrong , I send your signs to stop or change your thought. It could be anything around you , a sudden change just to know you that I am besides you. So don't be afraid for I am always with you my Child , right till the end.

Dear God ,
